gamescom 2017

For many years already we have been happily visiting the gamescom with our program steadily growing every year.

This year we joined from Wednesday until Saturday to offer all kinds of activities around and information about lightsabers. First on our agenda was the already traditional visit at our friend Marco Risch of Nerdkultur. We were able to tell him and the crowd news from the world of lightsabers. For the first time we also presented a small workshop that could be followed live over YouTube. auf YouTube zu sehen war.

From there we continued to the Cosplay village where we entertained the visitors three times with an one our stage program. Our “workshop show” involved not only us showing some of our choreographies but also bringing our audience on stage and teaching them the basic techniques for creating their own choreographies.

During the rest of the time we were pretty much everywhere but especially in the awesome setting of the largely enhanced Cosplay area. There we gave the one or another “unofficial” workshop and met many new people with whom we had lots to talk about Star Wars and lightsabers.
