Role at SP?
In general, I like to help with organizational things, especially planning for events (such as booth shifts) and keeping a bit of an overview on site.
Because of my age, I also take on the role of team mom, psychologist, therapist and know-it-all now and then.
On stage I feel most at home when I get to fight for the dark side.
Best memory with the team?
There are already lots of great memories; you always take something nice away from every event or meetup. But the ROTLI shoot was special, and so was the ROTLI premiere at the cinema.
Three things that must not be missing at any event?
- Lightsabers, of course
- A good mood
- Bente’s sneezing fits
Why lightsabers, anyway?
Back in the 80s I was already waving homemade lightsabers around, was a huge Star Wars fan and dreamed of having my own lightsaber. As a girl that was really unusual back then, which makes it all the cooler that 40 years later I can now live out my love of lightsabers.
What’s your favorite lightsaber and why?
Personal collection: my Tiro from the SP Shop, 2018. I’ve bought many other sabers over time, but I always come back to my battered Tiro, which by now feels like an extension of my arm.
In Star Wars itself, I love all of Ahsoka’s lightsaber models.
How did you join the team?
The origin story is long and would fill an evening. In short: Markus was involved, because he was the most expensive but also the nicest lightsaber dealer, and so was Hans-Georg Panczak.
