Role at SP?
I help out in the design team and take care of the textiles. Hopefully I’ll also find the time and energy in the new year to take care of the merchandise; I have a few ideas.
At events you’ll find me at the booth, where I explain a few things to visitors about the lightsabers, the team’s show and Saberproject in general.
A few team members keep trying to get me on stage now and then. Unfortunately, I get pretty bad stage fright when it’s time to go on stage. So I won’t be able to scrape together the courage too often, but maybe you’ll still get to see me in action there once or twice.
Best memory with the team?

Why lightsabers, anyway?
During the Covid crisis in 2020 I discovered the special sport of choreographed lightsaber stage combat and took a huge liking to the whole thing. I mean, how could you not think it’s cool! It combines the Star Wars film universe with a super cool sport.
What’s your favorite lightsaber and why?
The Patronus from the SP Shop. I have two myself and think they’re great. Not only are these sabers just great for fighting, sitting really well in the hand with the cup-shaped emitter and being wonderfully balanced, they also look sharp. A simple design that I upgraded on both of mine with a bit of leather-look wrap.
How did you join the team?
Good question, with a bit of luck, I’d say. Many of the members had already supported SP at events before; I had only been to one. But I was super happy when I got the message at the end of 2022 asking whether I’d like to join SP, and of course I said yes 🙂
