Role at SP?
Officially, I’m the secretary! Apart from that, I’m the New Intern, and on stage you’ll see me hopping around as a Padawan. Behind the scenes, as one of the youngest members, I take my job very seriously and love reminding everyone how much older they are.
Best memory with the team?
The first thing that comes to mind is the premiere of Rise of the Last Intern. As someone who started out as a fan of the team, getting to act in the sequel to The Intern Awakens was an absolute dream come true.
All the nerves before every shoot and then before the premiere itself were absolutely worth it, though, and I hope I’ll always remember that evening fondly.
“Anything is possible”, my last words in the film, is exactly what I take away from it. The whole project was a very valuable experience that I’m super grateful for.
Three things that must not be missing at any event?
A lightsaber, of course; nothing works here without one. Apart from that, comfortable shoes, because you’re on your feet all day. The third would have to be my phone, mainly to capture funny moments and keep track of things.
Why lightsabers, anyway?
It looks cool! I love the dance-like quality of our style of lightsaber combat. The mix of a very elegant weapon and sometimes brutal elements really got me.
What’s your favorite lightsaber and why?
Hmm, probably my own first of all. It holds the effort of many friends, which makes it an absolutely unique piece with high sentimental value for me.
As for the films and series, there aren’t many that really stand out, since I’m a fan of simple designs. I really like Shin Hati’s lightsaber from the new Ahsoka series, though.
How did you join the team?
Through the YouTube tutorials! Back then I practiced with a broomstick. I met part of the team for the first time in 2016 at the Identities exhibition in Munich, and we got along right away.
I stayed in touch with them afterwards and have been part of the team since 2017.
