Honorary Members

Even before Saberproject was founded, Werner, as Alex’s father, shared his passion for Star Wars and lightsaber fighting and trained with him regularly.

Werner has supported the team since the very beginning and was named an honorary member for it in 2017.

At events he regularly helps out at the booth, takes great photos and videos and keeps us supplied with the legendary muffins his wife Maria bakes for us.

Timo is one of the four founders of Saberproject.

Although he officially left the team again in 2006, he always stayed in touch with Alex and Tim and joined us at various events.

He also helped us early on with editing videos and is the director of RISE OF THE LAST INTERN.

Timo is now a “regular member” again, but we already awarded him the honorary title in 2017.

Hans-Georg Panczak is not only a (voice) actor and the German voice of Luke Skywalker, but also a good friend of the team.

Since his first convention, Jedi-Con 2014, he has been heard again and again as Luke in our shows. Back then he even spontaneously voiced our show intro live; today he can be heard as a playback hologram of the Jedi Master.

He also has two roles in RISE OF THE LAST INTERN. Besides Luke, he appears as the Intern’s teacher in a short vision scene. By the way, to this day that is his last acting credit on IMDb.

Georg visits many conventions and always supports a good cause. We’re happy that he’s one of our honorary members, because he’s an important friend in our history.

Ralph is a founding member of the registered club and has supported the team for as long as it has existed, because he is Tim’s father.

In our early years we often had to find somewhere for lots of people to stay overnight. So for events nearby, we often stayed with Tim’s parents.

His parents deserve an award just for their patience with us, but Ralph, like his wife Ursula, also actively supports the team at events now and then and follows everything we do.

Ralph also has an appearance in RISE OF THE LAST INTERN as the Master Intern. It was also his first acting role.

We’re happy that Ralph is one of our honorary members.

Ursula is a founding member of the registered club and has supported the team for as long as it has existed, because she is Tim’s mother.

In our early years we often had to find somewhere for lots of people to stay overnight. So for events nearby, we often stayed with Tim’s parents.

His parents deserve an award just for their patience with us, but Ursula, like her husband Ralph, also actively supports the team at events now and then and follows everything we do.

We’re happy that Ursula is one of our honorary members.

Corinna works at the Technik Museum Speyer and, with her team, is responsible for the big Science Fiction Meetup.

What started as a small event has grown into a huge happening and the museum’s most successful event.

When we were guests for the first time in 2012, she absolutely wanted to have us there.

A decision she hasn’t regretted, because since then we’ve been there every year with our shows and workshops.

Corinna has supported us for so many years, and we’re welcomed in Speyer with great enthusiasm every year, that we simply had to bind her closer to us.

We’re happy that she’s one of our honorary members!
