Celebration Europe 2007 – Day 4

Lost in London – Day 4 – Sunday - More Con/Ray Park/Long way home 

After having a nice breakfast we packed our bags and went to the reception to check out.
We were allowed to leave our luggage in a free room, so we were off to ExCel with 2 sabres one last time.

We wanted to go to the Ray Park panel, but the queue already was very long… but why hat we met Lukas, he was quite at the front of the queue, so we got into “The two halfes of Darth Maul”!
Ray Park is ingenious, totally cool and when he fought with a Maul FX against Warwick Davis… This Guy got it =)

Then we first shopped, Alex bought a Vader ROTS LE for 100 pounds and tim a Anakin Skywalker Statue from Sideshow. We went to the entrance hall with Lukas to fight a bit. After a while a crowd was watching!
Short after that we two „watchers“ spoke to us, they recognised us! They were, by their own accounts FANS =) 
We got fans! We talked three quarters of an hour with Markus and Tom, it was really nice.

Unfortunately our time turned to the end, we had to get to the airport. So we said goodbye to Tom and Markus, Lukas and his mother and made us on the way back to our hotel… 
in the hotel we put our sabres into the luggage, but right when we wanted to start, outside it was the end of the world… RAIN, RAIN, RAIN and more RAIN…
Doch so schnell der Regen da war, war er auch wieder weg 🙂
So we searched our way through the city again, but this time not three hours but just one and a half… 
Nach mehreren Situationen die einen zur dunklen Seite führen würden (Verzweiflung, Wut, kein Bock mehr..) fanden wir die Victoria Bus Coach Station (man beachte das „Coach“, wir waren erst bei der anderen…:/).
Langsam ging uns die Zeit aus, doch diesesmal schaffte der Bus es schneller, als auf der Hinfahrt zum Mos Eisley…ähh Stansted Raumhafen. Wir kamen auf den letzten Drücker an und checkten schnell ein, natürlich mit gut 5kg Übergepäck, zum Glück mussten wir nichts bezahlen (danke an den freundlichen Angestellten) . Nachdem wir die FX-Klingen und das Vader LE zum Sondergepäckschalter gebracht hatten, machten wir uns auf den Weg zum Abflugterminal…..Wir hatten es geschafft!

Im Flugzeug rekapitulierten wir nochmal unsere Erlebnisse, es war eine TOLLE REISE und wir haben jede menge nette Leute getroffen! Als wir in den Landeanflug auf Düsseldorf kamen, war es kurz vor 23:00, Düsseldorf bei Nacht ist ein toller Anblick 😉
