    Happy holidays!

    Next year we'll celebrate our 15th anniversary. Even though this was the first year completely without events for us, we've been very busy behind the scenes.

    RISE OF THE LAST INTERN was actually supposed to come out this year, after all we already shot it at the end of 2019. But in 2020 a lot was different in the world, so we took more time for the film. Nobody is rushing us, and we want to be able to properly celebrate the release of the sequel to THE INTERN AWAKENS together and present you our best production to date.

    The film is in the final phase of post-production, and soon we'll be able to release more info, such as the release date. Since we're also planning a cinema premiere event, it's difficult to commit to a final date at the moment.

    Even though 2021 won't be much different from 2020, especially at the beginning, we're still hoping for real events again.

  • Hasbro Ahsoka Tano Elite Force FX announced

    Hasbro Ahsoka Tano Elite Force FX announced

    Only a few weeks after a Palpatine FX lightsaber was announced, here are the first photos of an Ahsoka Tano Elite Force FX lightsaber. As part of Hasbro's Black Series, this lightsaber comes with a removable crystal chamber and a triple color change feature from blue to green and green-yellow. The latter color is probably inspired by Ahsoka's second hilt, which she receives over the course of The Clone Wars TV series. However, the matching hilt hasn't been announced yet.

    Hasbro Palpatine FX lightsaber announced

    In its „Pulse“ streams, Hasbro regularly shares news about new products. Brand new is the Emperor Palpatine Force FX Elite Lightsaber, which is due out early next year.

    Technically, the lightsaber seems to build on the previous FX lightsabers of the Hasbro Black Series, but it also has new features like the „molten glow cutting effect“ and the „force lightning effect“. With the first, the blade tip lights up and simulates a cutting effect, and with the second, the whole blade changes color in the style of Palpatine's Force lightning.

    April 11 is always a special day for our team: it's our birthday! This year it's already been 14 years since Saberproject was founded in 2006.

    We thank all of you who have been with us during this time and will hopefully experience many more lightsaber adventures with us. 14 years ago, the four founding members could only have dreamed of living out their hobby so intensely. Many thanks to all our families, helpers, supporters, partners, sponsors, fans, followers and everyone reading these lines.

    Rise of the Last Intern – Teaser

    Almost five years ago we released our short film THE INTERN AWAKENS , which, with over four million views on YouTube, is our most successful video to date.

    The plot about the intern who is working in the Toy Palace warehouse and suddenly runs into Jedi and Sith is a simple one. The main focus is on showing lightsaber fights.

    For a long time we thought about whether and how we wanted to continue the story and what could be new.

    Now we can officially announce it: the story will continue in an exciting way and will include some surprises. Besides references to the Star Wars films, we'll also refer to other fan universes, so we're heading into the multiverse.

    But don't worry, the main focus is still on lightsabers.

    We were at the Technik Museum Speyer back at the end of September. We're sorry that the report and photos from the photo wall are only coming now, but in the meantime we've been busy with a big project that we'll be able to announce soon.

    Until then, enjoy the report on our eighth visit to the Technik Museum Speyer.

    The Saberproject Shop has been updated: following the revamp of our main site, there's now a new shop system too!
    Also, starting Tuesday, October 15, at 7 pm, Tiros and blades will be available again. The Apprentice, the successor to the Novice that we already sold in Speyer, will also be available starting tomorrow.
