Almost all of Hasbro's FX lightsabers can be modded. In the mod, you replace the original LED strip with a high-power LED. For this we recommend a sturdy blade from our shop. The result is a brighter, more robust lightsaber. The only thing you lose is the blade's extend and retract effect.
Most of these guides were written between 2006 and 2010. The technology has moved on since then, and some parts are no longer available like that today. But the basic steps still work and will still help you with your mod. That's why we're deliberately keeping the tutorials online.
