Disassembly
1. Unscrew the pommel ring and remove the battery holder. Pull out the small steel pin on the clamp with pliers.
2. Now the clamp can be taken apart into three main parts. To get to the switch, remove the two screws on the inner part of the clamp.
3. Now the switch can be desoldered and the wire pushed into the saber so the internals can be removed later. Then remove the last screw of the clamp so it can be slid along the hilt. This properly exposes the holes underneath.
4. Unscrew all four screws on the emitter, as well as the two small ones below the emitter. To make the work easier, the emitter can now be pulled off over the blade.
5. The blade can now be pushed through the hilt together with the internals.
6. Disconnect the soundboard housing from the blade holder and the cable connection.
7. Pry out the two small steel pins on the blade holder with a thin object and remove the tube inside.
8. Now tap out the two large steel pins with a pin punch/nail and a hammer, and twist the blade out of the blade holder.
9. There's still a plastic mount for the LED strip in the blade. To remove the LED strip, tap the small steel pin inward with a pin punch/nail and a hammer.
10. Then you can twist the LED strip and its mount out with pliers and separate them. Take the strip mount apart into two pieces and remove the small steel pin completely. When reassembling, this pin is later tapped from above through the blade into the mount until it sits flush with the blade again.
