gamescom 2017

For several years in a row now we've been visiting gamescom with great pleasure, and every year our program there grows.

This year we were there from Wednesday to Saturday, offering all kinds of activities and information about lightsabers. Our first program item was what has almost become a tradition: a stage visit with Marco Risch from Nerdkultur. Once again we were able to tell him and the audience what's new in the world of lightsabers, and for the first time we did a small workshop with him, which could also be watched live on YouTube .

From there we went to the Cosplay Village, where we entertained the crowd on stage for an hour three times in total. In our "workshop show", we not only performed some choreos ourselves, but also involved the visitors and introduced them to the basic techniques for easily coming up with their own choreographies.

The rest of the time we were out and about everywhere, but mostly in the great sets of the greatly expanded cosplay area. There we gave a workshop or two "unofficially" and met lots of new people, with whom there was plenty to talk about regarding Star Wars and lightsabers.
