German Comic Con Dortmund Spring Edition

Comic Con has become a fixed destination for fans of all kinds of genres in Germany. Whether in Berlin, Munich or Dortmund, cosplayers flock here from every corner of the country, so we couldn't miss being in Dortmund on April 13 and 14. We also brought our new exhibition booth, which only premiered last year at Noris Force Con in Nuremberg.

Besides one show a day, we used our booth's photo wall to get a colorful assortment of cosplayers in front of the lens. For example, we equipped our booth neighbors from Power Rangers Germany with matching lightsabers, or posed ourselves next to Ghostbusters, the odd Star Trek fan and even the broom boy from "The Last Jedi".

Our varied time at the booth was interrupted by our show, which we got to perform on the main stage. On this occasion we had a fleeting encounter with Charlie Sheen, who, alongside Elizabeth Olsen, was probably the best-known star of the event. On stage we then presented our backup program, since our actual training for our new stage program would only take place now at Easter. Nevertheless, our audience seemed well entertained when we brought some of them on stage to practice the basic strikes with us and take their first steps into the world of lightsaber combat.

We look back on a varied and diverse event. And who knows, maybe we'll be at one Comic Con or another again sometime.

Many thanks to Andreas Lousberg for some of the photos!

And here's the big photo gallery from our booth, many thanks to everyone who joined in!
