Disassembly
1. First, remove the pommel ring and the battery holder.
2. Now loosen the knurled screw on the emitter. Then the emitter can be pulled off over the blade.
3. Now unscrew the black ring and simply pull out the blade.
4. Remove the two small screws on the side of the emitter.
5. Next, unscrew the large screw on the black plastic cover below the emitter.
6. Remove the two slotted screws that hold the plastic cover on the hilt.
7. Unscrew the large screw on the activator box. The box can now be removed in several pieces.
8. Next, remove the two screws that hold the switch mount in place. Then the mount can be taken off and the switch pushed out.
9. Now desolder the switch. Then push the wires into the hilt.
10. Remove the screw that holds the ring with the box on the hilt.
11. The ring can now either be slid down to the grips or pulled off the saber. Tap the steel pin that appears out of the hilt with a pin punch or a pointed object. Then the housing with the electronics can be pulled forward out of the hilt.
Blade disassembly
12. Tap both steel pins outward with a pin punch and pull off the blade holder.
13. Then tap the small steel pin in the blade inward with a pin punch, after which the LED strip mount can be removed.
14. Cut the mount open on both sides and detach the LED strip with its wiring. The clash sensor sits on the LED strip. Now carefully desolder it; the connector with the wires can stay on the strip.
