The visual showpiece of Hannes’ lightsaber collection.

After his down-to-earth entry into the world of MHS customs in 2011 with the Telian, his first self-designed saber followed in 2012: Traxus
The hilt is based on standard parts from The Custom Saber Shop and customized with a laser-cut overlay. Because of the overlay, the hilt is naturally thicker than a regular MHS saber, which isn’t much of an obstacle for the tall Hannes. It should be noted, though, that with the Traxus the focus was on looks rather than handling.
Nevertheless, the Traxus has been through quite a few fights and consequently has a scratch or two and plenty of signs of use. Lightsabers are things to be used, after all, and they want to be used.
The first chassis was made of threaded rods and POM discs that Markus painstakingly dremeled by hand. For various reasons this manufacturing technique didn’t catch on, so over the years the Traxus got a general overhaul and is now fitted with a custom 3D-printed chassis in the usual Saberproject Shop quality.
The Traxus houses a Crystal Focus Saber Core V5.6 and, depending on the mood, an RRW or BBW LED, plus a 2 W speaker.
You’ll often find Hannes’ “poser saber” at events at the booth in the custom corner, or on Hannes’ belt; he likes to wear it with his costume, but also in plain clothes.
