Elios is Chris’ second custom lightsaber based on the MHS system. The saber was built in 2013 purely as a display piece and has therefore never been seen on stage.
While most saber designs place the thin neck right below the emitter, here the neck splits the hilt into two parts.
The saber no longer has a PVC chassis, but is fitted with the first attempts at our own modular chassis system, made largely of 3D-printed discs. This system preceded our current solution of complete, individually printed chassis.
The saber also has illuminated activation and AUX switches.
