The hero saber doesn’t appear in every scene of Episode VI. ESB stunt versions were reused as well.
The official ROTJ saber is no longer based on an MPP flash handle, but on a Graflex. Most likely it was built from a stunt version of the Luke Skywalker ESB . The various black screws in the hilt were used to fix the stunt blade in place. The glass eye was replaced by a new part that looks like a car tire valve seal. Instead of the bunny ears, a new part is attached to the emitter. Where it comes from is unknown.
