Comic Con Stuttgart

For our last event of the year it was: pack your bags, grab your lightsaber and off to Stuttgart for Comic Con! In the new "Galactic Cantina" area, where everything revolved around Star Wars, we felt right at home. Our booth, with our finest exhibits and the latest models from Markus's Saberproject Shop, was the place to be for all lightsaber fans, and we had a lot of fun talking shop with the visitors.
Of course it was also nice to meet so many nice people from the fandom again at the end of the year. Since luckily we had some space, we could also show a few lightsaber tricks to some interested visitors.

The absolute highlight? Lauren Mary Kim, the stunt and motion capture queen who lent her moves to Ahsoka Tano in "Clone Wars" as well as "The Mandalorian", among others, took some time for us. Together with Tim and Jo from our troupe, she came up with a little choreo and simply performed it right in the middle of the hall for amazed visitors. That was really a lot of fun, and of course we took home a bunch of footage from this spontaneous lightsaber training, which we'll surely be able to show on our channels soon.

But that wasn't all: other celebrities, such as Thomas Panke aka "Held der Steine", also stopped by our booth, which was another absolute highlight for those on our team who like to play with building bricks.
On both days we also rocked our lightsaber show on the „Force Stage“ in the „Galactic Cantina“ area. The shows were really fun, even though the stage was a bit smaller than what we're used to. But that didn't spoil the fun and was more of a motivation for us to prove our ability to improvise.

Comic Con was a lovely end to the year for us. Great conversations with fans, unexpected and wonderful encounters and two memorable Saberproject shows. We'd love to come back! Thanks to Robert and the whole Galactic Cantina and Comic Con team for two turbulent and really lovely days!
