botanika goes space 2025

On September 6 and 7 we were guests at botanika Bremen again, a place that feels a little more like a second living room to us every year. Between the exotic ambience of the Japanese Garden, the individual greenhouses and animal houses (the otters are great!) and the lovingly designed rooms, it once again offered the perfect backdrop for our little lightsaber show, which every year we also use a bit as a dress rehearsal and training for Speyer.

As always, fun came first, both on and behind the stage. But this time there was also a lot to celebrate: besides our Alex's birthday on Sunday, we got to cheer several stage premieres. Jenny and Wibke, who had already joined us at events many times, have been full members of the club since early September and were now able to ceremoniously sign their membership applications.

Teresa, who has long supported us behind the scenes of the stage shows as story writer and in charge of props, was now also on stage actively with a blade for the first time, a premiere we were especially happy about.

We also welcomed two absolute show debutants, Torben and Myleen. Both gave impressive performances and fit seamlessly into our team. Particularly worth mentioning: Myleen, just 15 years old, runs her own lightsaber club at her school, and learned her show choreography with Jenny in a single day. A truly remarkable achievement!

Of course we supported the botanika team with the popular lightsaber crafting and helped several dozen kids (and their grown-ups) proudly romp around the event with their homemade lightsabers and, of course, try them out on the event area.

We're looking forward to many more performances together and exciting developments within our team, and of course to the next time in Bremen.
