botanika 2024

This was already our sixth time at this event. Every year the backdrop of the botanical garden impresses us and lets all visitors and exhibitors dive even deeper into far, far away worlds.

Whether scientific endeavors from Star Trek, battles between good and evil from Star Wars, the Ghostbusters' attempts to contain the supernatural, very earthly research by the DLR and much more.
We were very happy to show our audience new choreos in our shows and were pleasantly surprised by the greatly increased number of visitors. They already got to admire a few choreos and costumes from our new story show, even though it would only be shown later in the year.

With crowds like these, interest in lightsaber crafting was bigger than ever too, and we did our best to do justice to all saber builders, young and old. Once again, great lightsabers in all colors and variations were created.

We were especially happy to see Niklas "Yrrwesen" again, who gave our final show on Sunday afternoon an extra boost with live music. That won't have been the last time with him.

Besides our shows, Tim got to host a panel with this year's guest Reiner Schöne (among others the German voice of Darth Vader and Optimus Prime), who presented his book „Das Gläserne Buch“.

As always, a big thank you goes to the organizers and the botanika team. And above all, big congratulations to everyone involved, because the event set a new visitor record – after just one event day! We're very much looking forward to being there again next year!
