Today we're celebrating our 19th anniversary and have a great collaboration to announce.
Spending almost two decades in the Star Wars fandom as a fan club and still experiencing new things is not something we take for granted, and we're grateful for everything we get to experience online and offline.
What started as a simple website with a few lightsaber reviews has grown further than our four founders ever imagined back then.
We're especially happy about how many different lightsaber clubs and enthusiasts there are now, who share the same joy in our hobby as we do, and some of whom were even inspired by us.
By now there's a sizable group of lightsaber fans in the fandom, and we want to keep doing our part to move it forward.
At events we already team up with many friendly clubs and are always happy about their support. Now it's time to look a little beyond our own horizon.
In STRAIGHT OUTTA RIM , lots of lightsaber fans have come together on Discord and Facebook over the last four years to talk about every aspect, from collecting and building lightsabers to workshops, shows and videos.
That's where the things we enjoy happen too, and we want to support that.
So today we can announce a partnership and invite you to become part of the community! We'll use our know-how, our contacts and our experience to make the already great community even bigger.
Through the Discord server we want to create opportunities for community meetups and exclusive offers for events, and at the same time offer a platform for showing off your own creations, whether photos or videos.
Behind the scenes we're working on lots of things so we can offer more lightsaber content on our own homepage again. Our 20th year is going to be an exciting one!
So check out STRAIGHT OUTTA RIM – by SABERPROJECT, the German lightsaber community on Discord and Facebook!
