Disassembly
1. First, remove the pommel ring and the battery holder.
2. Next, carefully pry off the thin plate on the activator box.
3. Unscrew the two screws that hold the plate on the activator box. The switch and its plastic cover can be taken out of the plastic mount.
4. Desolder the switch.
5. Now unscrew the activator box and take it off.
6. Then push the wires into the saber's internals, which can now simply be slid out of the hilt.
7. Now pry the chassis open along its long side.
8. Now the blade can be taken out of the chassis and the wires disconnected from the board.
Blade disassembly
9. Tap the large pin all the way through the blade, while the small one is tapped into the blade. Then you can pull out the LED strip.
