Tim’s first custom lightsaber actually started out as a mod of a Master Replicas Anakin Skywalker FX lightsaber.
With a custom clamp box and a Crystal Focus Saber Core 4.1, it was the team’s first lightsaber with Plecter Labs electronics to be used on stage.
What stood out most (for the time) was how much louder it was than the other FX lightsabers with the standard Master Replicas soundboard. It used a Luxeon 3 watt LED and later a Seoul P4 LED, the beginnings of high-power or base-lit LED setups.
