Description
A gold-plated Luke Skywalker lightsaber hilt replica from ICONS for the 20th celebration of Star Wars. Skywalker (Mark Hamill) received his signature blue lightsaber – an inheritance from the father he never knew – from Jedi Master Obi-Wan „Ben“ Kenobi (Alec Guinness). In 1997, ICONS created a limited run of commemorative gold-plated lightsabers that were not sold to the public. These gold-plated lightsabers were given exclusively to the executives of ICONS Authentic Replicas, of which only 10 were ever created.
This lot consists of one officially-licensed replica lightsaber hilt and a display case with numbered „003“ plaque. It is accompanied by the original packaging, a guarantee of quality paper sheet, and a sheet of instructions for care. This lot exhibits discoloration on the original box and worn corners. Dimensions: (displayed) 16.5″ x 11″ x 9.5″ (42 cm x 28 cm x 24.25 cm)
Additional Provenance: Certificate of Authenticity from ICONS.
Estimate: $7,000 – 14,000
