Technik Museum Speyer 2022

Even though the Cosplay Days were a good substitute for the last two years, it's great that the big meetup at the Technik Museum Speyer could finally take place again! This year was a special anniversary for us, because we've been part of the event for 10 years now.

Just like 10 years ago, we were there again with our exhibition and photo booth and our lightsaber show. For the show we moved back into the Forum, the former IMAX of the Technik Museum Speyer, since the event hall was used for more exhibition booths, so the event keeps growing. Together with friends from the Saber Academy Karlsruhe and the Fördesabers, we provided lightsaber action several times a day.

There was also a panel about Rise of the Last Intern on both days, in which its predecessor The Intern Awakens was shown as well. On top of that, we took the audience behind the scenes of the production of this short film, with Tim as producer, Timo as director and Alex as visual effects supervisor sharing interesting insights into their work.

At the booth we provided visitors with information about lightsabers and the team. In front of our photo wall, photos could be taken with lightsabers, which you'll find below this report. Thanks for joining in and enjoy your photos!

Even after a two-year break, the event felt as familiar to us as in the previous 8 years – we're already looking forward to next year!
