Technik Museum Speyer 2026

26 September – 27 September

On September 26 and 27 it was time again: off to Speyer! Once again we were guests at the Science Fiction Days at the Technik Museum Speyer.

Six times in total – three times on Saturday and three times on Sunday – we brought our lightsaber show "Im Zwielicht der Macht" to the stage.

A very special milestone for us: on Saturday we celebrated the 300th Saberproject lightsaber show.  300 shows full of lightsaber choreographies and loads of fun. Being able to celebrate this anniversary in Speyer of all places made it all the more special for us. At the same time, it was also a farewell, because it was the last time we performed "Im Zwielicht der Macht". Next year we'll present a brand-new lightsaber show to you.

Away from the stage, there was plenty for visitors to discover too. In the entrance area of the event hall, we were waiting at our booth for all lightsaber fans, young and old, who could not only take a look at selected exhibits and expand their trading card set, but also had the chance to grab various merchandise items.  In cooperation with GTC, we were also able to offer a beginner saber for sale.

Just like last year, there was a lot going on in the Wilhelmsbau again this year. In our mini lightsaber workshops, kids and adults got the chance to pick up a lightsaber themselves and learn their first lightsaber techniques and movements under our guidance.

For the creative young Jedi, there was also our lightsaber crafting workshop, where lots of kids crafted their very own lightsaber.

On top of that, Tim got to host the panels with the four star guests: our honorary member Georg Panczak (Luke Skywalker), Wanja Gerick (Anakin Skywalker), Sascha Rotermund (The Mandalorian) and Constantin von Jascheroff (young Anakin Skywalker & battle droids) were guests this year, all German voice actors, so a great mix spanning 50 years of Star Wars dubbing history.

Very special thanks go to the members of the lightsaber clubs Saber Academy Karlsruhe, Industrial Lights and Saber, Forcesabers Hamburg and Danish Lightsaber Community, who enriched our show with their great choreographies and led the workshops brilliantly.

Many thanks also to the Technik Museum Speyer. We're looking forward to next year!

We were also sent more photos of our show. Photographer Anne Barth took great shots:
