The Outpost One in Dassow (near Lübeck) is a must-visit for many Star Wars fans in northern Germany. As a large, lovingly designed fan exhibition, it offers sets, life-size figures, exhibits and loads of details from the Star Wars universe across several levels and buildings. The life-size exhibition is laid out like a huge walk-through film set, with around 30 scenes from the films recreated on 13,000 square meters.
The scale exhibition offers a new perspective on the saga in 1:6 scale with lots of detail, and it’s an experience not just for model building fans.
In the hangar you can marvel at full-size spaceships. If you haven’t been yet, you really need to go.
For Saberproject, especially our northern German team members, Outpost One has been a familiar place for many years. First encounters quickly turned into a close friendship, which over time led to many joint activities. Whether lightsaber crafting for kids, first lightsaber workshops for visitors or surprise appearances during VIP tours.
What connects us is less an official concept and more a shared passion for Star Wars, lightsabers and sharing this hobby with others. That’s exactly why working together is so easy and on equal terms, with lots of trust, humor and fun.
Another step in this long-standing connection is the planned exhibition of our first Saberproject booth at Outpost One. Many lightsabers from our collection will be on display there in the future, which means Saberproject will more or less take over the lightsaber section of the exhibition. For us as a club, that’s something very special.
We’re very happy to be a partner of Outpost One, and we look forward to many more lightsaber moments there with fans, visitors and friends.
