Since Lucasfilm was acquired by Disney in 2012, we have been working with the German branch of one of the world’s largest media companies.
We have planned many joint promotions in the form of workshops and got to accompany and entertain at the premieres of Star Wars Rebels in 2014 and The Force Awakens in 2015 on the red carpet of the Zoo Palast in Berlin. We were also invited to internal company events to promote new marketing campaigns.
We’re happy to have a partnership-based and friendly relationship with Disney, who really do everything to support the fan scene and keep creating new opportunities. As a fan, it’s something unique to be so closely involved in so many things and to always be able to count on support; that’s not a given in many other big fandoms.
