A replica of Rey’s (Daisy Ridley) lightsaber hilt from J.J. Abrams‘ Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Propshop, the industry prop and set decoration fabricator that created many props for The Force Awakens, released made-to-order replicas in partnership with Disney and Lucasfilm. The pieces were made from original 3D scan data from the production to ensure the utmost accuracy.
Inspired by Luke Skywalker’s (Mark Hamill) lightsaber from Star Wars: A New Hope, this lightsaber hilt is made of aluminum and steel with high-density resin detailing and six dense black rubber strips. Also included is a display stand with a plaque bearing the film’s title. This lot exhibits missing components, mild tarnishing, adhesive residue, and lifting of the adhesive on the rubber strips.
