First impression<\/strong>
Compared to the previous models from Hasbro and Master Replicas, the paint job stands out immediately.
The two upper parts of the emitter no longer have the familiar gold design, but a brown paint job instead. This makes the lightsaber lose a bit of its charisma and authenticity, and it takes a while to get used to the new color.
Otherwise, Obi-Wan Kenobi's FX lightsaber is very solidly made and in no way inferior to the two older versions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Handling<\/strong>
This Hasbro FX is well balanced and suitable for all kinds of tricks and rehearsed show fights.
Thanks to the dish-shaped emitter, your hand doesn't slip even during fast spins and strikes.
That's why this lightsaber is particularly well suited for beginners.
As with the other models, the clamp can get in the way at first, but with regular practice you get used to it very quickly. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Light and sound<\/strong>
As with all other FX lightsabers, the blade glows a nice blue and is in no way inferior to its predecessors. What sets this model apart from the older FX versions is the removable blade.
With the blade removed, you can insert a small part into the emitter that represents the blade emitter and makes the lightsaber look even more authentic. Hasbro also came up with something completely new for the sound: the board has completely new swing and clash sounds.
The blade's „energy hum“ has also been reworked. 
The sounds are much more intense, louder and even more true to the original than on all other models of the Obi-Wan Kenobi ROTS.
When you switch on the saber without a blade, another sound plays, which is meant to represent a malfunction of the saber and sounds like a short circuit. 
So when it comes to sound, this one is real fun. The saber runs on 3 AAA batteries. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wear<\/strong>
Since the saber is very solidly made, there's hardly any wear. Unfortunately, with frequent use the gold circuit board on the clamp fades, revealing the yellow plastic. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Verdict<\/strong>
The Obi-Wan Kenobi ROTS FX lightsaber with removable blade sits nicely in the hand and is very robust.
Thanks to its design and weight distribution, it's an excellent choice, and not just for beginners.
Thanks to the new sounds and the new technology, it's a great addition for any Star Wars fan. Whether you're a collector or a fighter, the Obi-Wan is definitely worth buying. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
