Disassembly – Darth Vader ESB

How its done:

At first detach the locking ring and the battery tray. Foto 1
Unscrew all visible screws at the emitter next. Foto 2
Remove the cable bridges with a screwdriver cautiously. Foto 3
The little metal pin at the activatorbox can be extracted with tongs so that a large part of the box can be taken out. Foto 4 and Foto 5
Underneath the shifter's casing, two screws are attached. For laying open the shifter lift those as well . Foto 5 and Foto 6
Desolder the wires and push the loose cable into the hilt piece. Foto 7
Now extract the whole inner life forward. Foto 8

For being able to detach the blade, knock both metal pins out of the blade holder completely with a steel pin (or a blunt nail). Foto 9

The blade is dismounted and - thanks to the "Plug & Play"-access - can be mounted again. Moreover it can be switched with the Anakin ROTS (P&P version) for the accesses are identical! Foto 10

For assembling go through the steps backwards. Only the two steel pins are not necessary anymore.

Finished the dismounting is!
