Darth Vader ANH Force FX Lightsaber (2007)

First Impression:
"Come to the dark side, Luke"…
This are the dark lord's most famous words. Just as dark as his soul is the new Force FX lightsaber Hasbro has released.
The saber is very detailed and differs from its forerunner from Master Replicas (2007) only in the sign on the locking ring.

Handling:
Since the emitter is quite jam-packed it is hard to perform stunts and spins with this saber. From time to time the emitter's elements and their clumsy form get in one's way.
Nevertheless it is very well balanced. The fulcrum is right above the emitter; it is activated at the clamp.

Light und Sound:
If one activates the saber one gets to hear the typical sith sound, which is - after all in every sith saber - a bit more unobtrusive than the Jedi's sound. It offers 4 moving- and 1 clashsound.
The blase glows is a handsome effectual red and is slightly brighter than the other sith saber's blades.

Nothing known yet.

Conclusion:
Visually an impressive saber, which makes the owner feel the dark side!
Because of the disruptive elements at the emitter is however is rather unsuitable for fighting. Therefore this saber is more likely something to keep in a showcase, where it certainly will leave a mark.
